Science Congress:
Young Science Congress

M. P. Council of Science and Technology have launched
this programme of promoting the young talent of State by organising
Young Scientist Congress every year. The congress aims at
identifying budding Scientists and providing encouragement to their
research plans and programmes. |
|
The first
experiment of its kind attached considerable attention and achieved
appreciable success. So far Council has organised fifteen Young
Scientist Congress in different Universities of the State. |

Procedure: |
|
Council calls
research paper from research scholars of M.P. Research paper are
invited from Young research fellows, Post Doctoral fellows, National
associates and faculty members working in Passport scan any recognised, private
group or autonomous body for the Congress. The Congress aims to
encourage young scientists for pursuing exciting and innovative
research ideas and to undertake an activity for fulfilment of the
objective of the scheme as part of their career. The research papers
are invited in following subjects.

12. Medical Science including Pharmaceutical Science
13. Home Science including Textile, Food, Nutrition etc.

| Conditions for
Participation |
|
1. Age on
28th Feb.- will be not more than 32 yr.. for man and 35 yr.. for
women
2. Two years research experience after PG Degree in Science or
Bachelor's degree in the case of Medical and Engineering.
3. A paper must bear single authorship. The work should be carried
out in State.
4. Maximum duration for oral presentation is 20 minutes and will be
followed by discussion.

Incentive to Awardees |
|
1. A certificate to
recognise his /her research work.
2. Cash prize of Rs. 1100/-
3. Single visit in second class sleeper/Bus with DA of Rs. 50/- per
day for maximum of two months duration to any institute/research
centre/University or National laboratory in India engaged in
advanced research within two years after receiving the award in
pursuance of his/her research work on which award has been given.

Guideline for Preparing Abstract and Paper
1. Minimum 250 words and maximum 300 words.
2. The abstract must be in the following pattern
A. Subject discipline under which it is to be included should be
written on top corner.
B. Title in capital letters (max 30 words)
C. Text to be distributed in three paragraphs
(i) First paragraph indicating objective and background details
(30-40 words)
(ii) Second paragraph material, methods or experiment (30-40 words)
(iii) Third paragraph highlighting the observation, findings,
discussion and importance
3. The entire abstract must be on white sheet in 25 cms length and
16 cms width.
4. It must be typed in single space on white bond sheet.
5. Do not fold the abstract sheet.
6. The abstract must be free of mistakes since they will be
reproduced as such.
Full Paper (05 Copies)
The full paper to be submitted for evaluation must be prepared in
following sequence.
1. Abstract 2. Introductions 3. Experimental details, methods,
materials etc. 4. Observation and Results 5. Discussion 6.
Acknowledgement 7. Reference complete + internationally accepted
style. 8. Tables and Diagrams to be submitted separately each to be
signed on the back for identification along with title of the paper.
9. The paper should by typed in the double space on thesis size bond
paper. The paper must indicate the discipline under which it is to
be considered. The required certificate/undertaking must accompany
the paper. 10. Each candidate should submit his/her research paper
in separate envelope.
