All Indian Nationals living in
India or Abroad are eligible for the Awards.

Each Award shall be of the value
of Rupees One Hundred thousand.

The award will ordinarily be
given every year.

The award will be given for
outstanding contribution to Sciences/Engineering and Technological
Sciences/Social Sciences.

The Selection of the awardees
will be made by the President, Madhya Pradesh Council of Science &
Technology on the recommendations of Advisory Boards constituted
for the purpose by the President from year to year.

Nominations for the awards will
be invited from reputed scientific institutions, academic and
professional bodies in India.

Members of the Advisory Board will not be eligible to be
considered for the awards for the year in which they serve on the
Boards.

The Advisory Boards will
recommend the names of those to whom awards are to be given.
An Award may be shared by not more than three individuals.

In considering the merits of the
nominees other things being equal, due regard shall be given to
the relevance of their work of India.

All deliberations, about the
award shall be strictly confidential.

The recipients of the awards may
be invited by the Government of Madhya Pradesh to deliver lectures
on the subject of their work.

Matters not covered by these
regulations shall be decided by the President M. P. Council of
Science & Technology.
